Welcome to our first of many Chef Series at The Spice & Tea Exchange of Branson!  This Taste & Learn Chef Series will be led by Personal Chef Jennifer Bean.  Chef Jen began her culinary career at the age of 16 and never looked back. She learned all the rules just so she could break them and brings her no-holds-barred attitude and passion for creativity to every dish, whether it be a reimagined culinary classic or her own unique creation. The one constant throughout her career has been to deliver amazing culinary experiences to people of all walks of life. 

Classes within this chef series will include lecture and cooking demonstrations of a minimum of 3 courses with tastings of each item.  Attendees will receive recipes of all items prepared as well as special pricing on products purchased during the event.  Tickets are $40 per person, $75 per couple, or $175 for a multi-class pass that gives you access to all 5 classes in this series.  Tickets may be purchased in store or online by clicking the button below.

Our January class focuses on Latin Fusion cuisine.  Chef Jen will show us how to create fun and out-of-the-box meals while taking a fresh new look at classic favorites.  

Course 1: Cocktails and Appetizers

Our Blood-Orange Smoothie herbal tea is infused with Bombay Sapphire gin and blended with Campari and sweet vermouth to create a Negroni cocktail that will start our evening off with a bang.  Chef Jen will serve tableside guacamole and a variety of salsa fresca for you to enjoy.

Course 2: Main Dish with 2 Sides

Our co-host Veronica Dearing will be serving up Mint-Basil Mojitos using our popular Mint-Basil herbal tea blend, Cruzan Aged Rum, and fresh lime juice sweetened with one of our all-natural flavored sugars.  Meanwhile, Chef Jen will be preparing a pork mole, Cuban-style black beans, fried plantains with a white balsamic glaze and saffron-infused rice.

Course 3: Dessert

We will be exploring a popular frozen Italian dessert called granita.  In Spain, they are called granizados, and here in the USA, we know them better as snow cones.  We will be showing you how to create healthy, all natural and unique flavors at our granita bar that will have you wanting to host your own granita party.
