Maybe the heat is getting to us, but we thought we'd have some fun this month by holding a contest in honor of our product of the month, White Papaya Tea. First, let's take a closer look at this amazing product.
Our White Papaya Tea is a Pai Mu Tan Chinese white tea originating from the Fujian Province. It has light and floral flavor characteristics with a pale, yellow coloring. It has a naturally lower caffeine content with much higher antioxidant properties than other teas. It has been recommended for people with anxiety, stress and nervous conditions due to its high quantities of magnesium and the amino acid, L-Theanine. We blend this high quality tea with papaya pieces, coconut flakes, organic marigold and natural flavorings to create a smooth, caramel flavor with hints of tropical fruit and honey. It works well for both hot and cold tea infusions. Because it is a white tea, it requires a slightly cooler water temperature (around 180ºF) for brewing than black or herbal teas. To brew, use 1 TBSP tea leaves per 8 oz. filtered water heated to 180ºF. Steep for 3-4 minutes, then strain.
This is a delicious tea that can be served hot or cold on its own or blended with another tea. Personally, I drink iced tea by the gallon so I love this tea blended with our Southern Iced Tea blend for a rich, fruity, and smooth flavor that makes me want to add one of those little umbrellas to the glass and escape into paradise. It's because this tea makes me so happy that our store wants to offer a little Facebook contest to all of you out there.
During the month of August, come by our store and pick up a bag of White Papaya Tea (or order online). Try this amazing tea and post pictures of you in your own summer escape enjoying our tea on our Facebook page @TSTEBranson with the hashtag #hiyapapaya. Be sure to also like our page and tell all your friends because it's about to get fun. At the end of the month, we are going to pick the best pictures. If your photo gets picked, you'll get a FREE 1 oz tea from our store at the Branson Landing.
Be sure to pass this post along to all your friends so they can get in on the fun while it lasts. After all, who doesn't like FREE tea??
